The Spatial Pokemon, Palkia, rules over the dimension space. Palkia has the power to distort space and is said to be able to even create entire dimensions. In the movies, to travel from his dimension to earth, he rips a hole in the sky that connects to his dimension. His primary type is water and is the only Pokemon the naturally learn the move Special Rend. In the Pokemon main games Palkia is genderless, but in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, Palkia is reffered to as a male.
The Temporal Pokemon, Dialga, rules over the dimension of time. Dialga has the ability to manipulate time by stopping, slowing down, or even speeding up time. Not only can Dialga manipulate time though, but Dialga can also send poeple or objects into the past or future. His primary type is steel and is the only Pokemon that can naturally learn the move Roar of Time. In the Pokemon main games Dialga is genderless, but in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, Dialga is reffered to as a male.
The Renegade Pokemon, Giratina, rules over the distortion world which is supposed to symbolise antimatter. The distortion world, which is to be parallel to ours, is posibly why Giratina has a connection to reflective objects. Giratina was also supposidly banished to the distortion world because of its violence. At will, Giratina can travel through any dimension. By shooting a whirlwind from its mouth giratina can open a portal to any dimension he wants to travel to. Although due to the change of gravity from traveling from the distortion world to any other dimension, Giratina has to change from its Origin forme to its altered forme. Unlike Dialga and palkia, Giratina is seen to be darker than the other two. Since legend has it that Giratina appears in graveyards, it only supports people to think of Giratina as an evil Pokemon. To either save the world from destruction or to save his world from destruction, Giratina did show up at Spear Pillar to stop Cyrus.
